Speed Range

Low speed is up to 1500 rpm, high speed is up to 4700 rpm, high speed is up to 10000 rpm (approximate values​​). Note: It is recommended to replace spindle bearings with high speed bearings.

Belt & Pulley Design Notes

Polyurethane V-belts are used to ensure minimal flex resistance, minimal power loss, and maximum belt life. Cloth-coated or rubber belts are not suitable for small diameter pulleys and are therefore not used in this design.

The spindle pulley is designed without a countersink for the spindle nut, allowing easier machining and straightforward installation. An installation video is available for reference. Click here to view the installation procedure.

Different manufacturers use slightly different dimensions on XJ9512 / Grizzly G0781 type mini mills. Please verify the following measurements before placing a pre-order.

Motor Mounting Plate Hole Spacing

XJ9512 / Grizzly G0781 The motor mounting hole spacing is 52 mm, measured center-to-center, in a square pattern. If your machine does not use the 52 mm spacing, please inform me during the pre-order process. The appropriate mounting plate will be manufactured for your machine.

Pulley Bore and Keyway Sizes (XJ9512 / Grizzly G0781)

• Small pulley: 10 mm bore with 3 mm keyway.
• Large pulley: 28 mm bore with 5 mm keyway.

If your machine uses different shaft diameters or keyway sizes, please provide the correct measurements. Parts can be manufactured accordingly.

If these dimensions do not match and no measurements are provided, the kit will not fit your mill.
